Bellagio fountain gets funky adding Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars hit “Uptown Funk” to lineup

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Bellagio fountain show on the Las Vegas Strip that pairs choreographed water shows to operatic ballads and classic crooning is getting funkier.

MGM Resorts announced Monday the Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars pop hit “Uptown Funk” would join the free water show’s musical rotation four times a day Monday through Saturday and five times on Sunday. The fountain show happens every 15 minutes or 30 minutes depending on the time of day.

MGM says Bruno playfully suggested the company rename the Bellagio the “Brunagio.”

Other recent lineup additions include a DJ Tiesto song, Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” and The Beatles’ “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.”

The fountain shows are choreographed by Wet Design which created the elaborate water display that debuted with the casino-resort in 1998.
