Two arrests made at Lac Le Jeune Road trailer park

KAMLOOPS – A trailer park in Kamloops was closed off this morning while police made two arrests.

RCMP say officers attended a residence in the Iron Mask Trailer Park on Lac Le Jeune Road, Aug. 30, in response to a breach of a no contact order.

Police took a 46-year-old woman into custody without incident, according to a RCMP media release. A 24-year-old Kamloops man was arrested for obstruction of a police officer.

"Police transported the accused to Kamloops City cells to be held for court and further questioning," Staff Sgt. Robert Daly says in the release.

Residents in the trailer park say the roads through the area were closed off at about 7:00 a.m. and nobody was allowed in or out of the park for several hours.

Daly says the investigation is ongoing.
