Jeff Goldblum to host Just for Laughs gala in Montreal

MONTREAL – Jeff Goldblum is heading from the big screen to the comedy stage in Montreal.

The “Independence Day: Resurgence” star will host a Videotron gala as part of this summer’s Just For Laughs Festival.

The event is slated to take place on July 30.

Goldblum joins a star-studded lineup at this year’s festival, which includes gala performances by Canadian comic Russell Peters and American stage and screen star Nathan Lane.

The Just For Laughs Festival runs from July 13 to Aug. 1.
