KAMLOOPS – A Kamloops man is racking up quite a string of charges since June 4, when he allegedly fired a gun during an altercation and hit a downstairs tenant.
Trevor Michael Wilvers, 35, was arrested and charged with numerous offences after a 25-year-old woman was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound to her arm. This after Wilvers allegedly had a fight with two 'associates' that turned to gunfire in an upstairs suite. He appeared in court on July 18 and was released on orders he leave Kamloops, among other conditions.
Now Wilvers is back in custody after police allege he entered a friend's Salish Road home and used a knife to rob a 'friend' of money just two days later. He was supposed to be living in Langley. With the assistance of Langley RCMP, Wilvers was arrested on July 21 on the warrant for robbery, uttering threats, and breach of recognizance.
