September in the Okanagan starts off with chilly temperatures and rain

OKANAGAN – Environment Canada is calling for showers and cooler temperatures this week in the Okanagan.

Plan for a 30 per cent chance of afternoon showers and a high temperature of about 20 Celsius today, Sept. 5. It could get gusty, with high winds expected to reach 20 km per hour in the afternoon.

Tuesday starts off with rain. Clouds should remain for the rest of the day. Expect a high temperature of about 19 C.

Wednesday and Thursday should be mostly cloudy, with high temperatures of 19 C.

While this weather is colder than most would prefer, it isn't far from the seasonal average of 22 C.
