Bad weather cancels Voodoo Music + Arts Experience; money will be refunded

NEW ORLEANS – Voodoo Fest organizers say dangerous weather is forcing them to cancel the final day of the three-day music and arts festival in New Orleans’ City Park.

A message on the festival’s website says current conditions don’t meet the festival’s safety standards.

It says that although Voodoo Fest ordinarily goes on rain or shine without any refunds, there will be refunds for Sunday’s tickets.

That’s a full refund for people who bought tickets only for Sunday, and one-third of the posted price at purchase time for those with three-day tickets.

Sunday’s schedule included Third Eye Blind, Zac Brown Band, Slightly Stoopid, Eric Prydz and The Cult.
