Obama, Secetary Kerry to make statement at White House, likely to address Keystone XL pipeline

WASHINGTON – The White House says President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry will make a statement to the news media later Friday.

The statement will be delivered after Obama meets with Kerry in the Oval Office.

It comes days after the administration rejected a request by TransCanada to delay a decision on its application for the Keystone XL oil pipeline.
