WEST KELOWNA – West Kelowna residents can take advantage of two upcoming opportunities to get questions answered and find out more about the West Kelowna City Hall/Civic Centre project and the Sept. 17 Referendum.
The City is hosting an Open House Tuesday, Sept. 13 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mt. Boucherie Municipal Hall, 2760 Cameron Road. Interested attendees can take part in a tour of the current Municipal Hall. Staff and Council members will be on hand to answer any questions.
On Wednesday, Sept. 14 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Mayor Doug Findlater be on Open Line with Phil Johnson on AM 1150. Mayor Findlater will be joined by members of the Vote Yes and Vote No sides of the debate and calls from the public will be answered.
West Kelowna residents can also find out more about the project online.
West Kelowna’s estimated 26,030 eligible electors are encouraged to cast their ballots during any one of the two upcoming voting opportunities in the City Hall Referendum.
The Second Advance Poll will be held Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Westbank Lions Community Hall, 2466 Main Street.
