Another pedestrian is in serious condition after being hit by a vehicle in Westsyde, Dec. 5.
A 20-year-old man was taken to Royal Inland Hospital that evening after being struck on Westsyde Road near Parkview Drive at about 6 p.m. He's the fourth pedestrian hit by a vehicle in the last two weeks. The sixth in the last two months.
The pedestrian sustained head injuries after being thrown several feet from a crosswalk.
The 50-year-old driver has been released without charges.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
