$9.7 M lotto ticket sold in Abbotsford

THOMPSON-OKANAGAN – A lucky lotto player is set to take home a hefty jackpot of $9.7 million.

The winning Lotto 6/49 ticket was sold in Abbotsford, BCLC said this morning in a media release.

The store location and winner's name will be announced when they come forward to claim the prize.

BCLC says the odds of winning a Lotto 6/49 jackpot is approximately one in 13.9 million.

Many of the 2016 jackpot winners are from the Thompson-Okanagan.
