Vanderbilt inducting Blue Jays pitcher David Price, Bears QB Jay Cutler into Hall of Fame

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Toronto pitcher David Price and Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler headline Vanderbilt’s latest Hall of Fame Class.

Vanderbilt announced the 2015-16 class Tuesday with induction set for January.

Price says it is an honour to be a part of this class.

Price was Major League Baseball’s top draft pick in 2007 out of Vanderbilt, and he won the American League Cy Young Award in 2012 with Tampa Bay. He went 18-5 with a 2.45 ERA last season and may be the most coveted free agent this off-season. Price didn’t offer any hints on where he may end up at the news conference.

Cutler, the SEC Offensive Player of the Year in 2005, beat Tennessee with a touchdown on his last collegiate pass. Cutler beat San Diego on Monday night.
