Season 2 of ‘Transparent’ to hit Shomi on Dec. 12

TORONTO – Season 2 of the acclaimed Amazon series “Transparent” will hit Shomi on Dec. 12.

The streaming video platform, launched by Rogers Communications and Shaw Communications, says it will post all the new episodes of the comedy-drama on that day.

“Transparent” stars Jeffrey Tambor as a retired college professor and parent who is transitioning from a man to a woman in Los Angeles.

He’s won several awards for his role, including a Golden Globe and an Emmy.

“Transparent” also won a Golden Globe for best TV series, and creator Jill Soloway got one for directing.
