
Armed robbery at Penticton 7-Eleven
PENTICTON – Police are looking for a suspect following an armed robbery at a convenience store in Penticton early this morning.
Penticton RCMP spokesperson Rick Dellebuur says a man walked into the Skaha Lake Road 7-Eleven on Skaha Lake Road just after midnight, Sept. 27, and demanded money while threatening the clerk with a hatchet.
The man took off on foot with a small amount of cash.
A search ensued involving the detachment’s police dog and the suspect was tracked to the White Water Modular Home Park, but he got away.
Police are looking for a Caucasian man, about 6' tall, with a thin build. He was dressed in a plaid jacket, wearing a hat with a bandanna pulled over his face.
