LAKE COUNTRY – A robbery may have been interrupted a robbery in progress in the 15,000 block of Barkley Road last night.
The resident left for work at about 9:30 a.m. and returned at 3 p.m. to find the home had been ransacked. Police suspect the thief entered through the side entrance of the rural property. As well, they say the robber may have been spooked because a TV hung on the wall was removed and wrapped inside a blanket, but left on the sofa. A detailed list of stolen items is not yet available, but includes six electric guitars, speakers and a wooden jewelry box containing miscellaneous chains and rings.
