UPDATE: Man recovering from serious injuries after being hit by train in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS – A man is recovering from broken bones and possibly a head injury after being hit by a train in Valleyview earlier this morning.
Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says in a media release police were called around 6:30 a.m., Sept. 30 to the train tracks at River Road and Thompson Drive.
Shelkie says the man was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries but he is expected to survive.
It's not known why the man was hit by the train.
