TUNIS, Tunisia – The reshuffled government of Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed has passed a parliamentary vote of confidence after more than 12 hours of debate.
Each of the new ministers got more than the minimum 109 votes required from the 160 lawmakers present Monday night.
Chahed reshuffled his government a week ago in a bid to end a months-long paralyzing political crisis.
