A chilly Thanksgiving Monday and frost overnight for Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – Today has brought perfect weather to stay indoors and cook a turkey. Environment Canada's weekly forecast is showing unusually cold temperatures for today, followed by average weather this week.

Plan for a high of 8 C today, a little colder than the seasonal average of 15 C. Today should be mostly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of rain. Expect high winds of 30 km per hour later in the afternoon. Overnight, the low should drop to -3 C with frost.

The sun should make an appearance on Tuesday. The forecast is calling for sunny skies and a high of 10 C. The overnight low should drop to -3 C.

Wednesday should be sunny again, with a high of 13 C. The overnight low should stay up above freezing at 3 C.

A mix of sun and cloud are on the radar for Thursday. Plan for a high of 15 C and and overnight low of 9 C.
