No arrests after vehicle and contents stolen in Penticton
PENTICTON – A Penticton family, just home from a trip, lost their fully loaded vehicle to thieves last week.
Penticton RCMP spokesperson Rick Dellebuur says the black, 2012 GMC Acadia was stolen from a home on Westwood Drive sometime overnight on Oct. 4.
He says the owners had just returned from a trip and had yet to unload the vehicle. Wallets, documents, visas, an iPad and a stroller were all inside the stolen vehicle.
A Visa credit card taken in the theft was later reported used in Summerland, and a quantity of cash was removed from one of the victim’s account using the stolen iPad.
No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
