VERNON – The final five recipients in the 2016 KPMG Top Twenty under 40 include a lawyer, a registered nurse, a hydrogeologist, a small business owner and a young leader who describes himself as an athlete, adventurer, and storyteller.
Josh Dueck, 35, is a Canadian alpine skier and won a silver medal at the 2010 Winter Paralympics in Vancouver in the men's slalom sit-ski event. He was also Canada’s Flag Bearer at the Closing Ceremonies of the Sochi Paralympics and now heads up Freedom Movement Inc.

The KPMG Top 20 Under 40 recognizes the next generation of leaders in the North Okanagan who are making their mark through business success and community involvement. All twenty recipients will be honoured at a special recognition event on Thursday, October 20, 2016 during Small Business Week.
Three Rising Stars who are 30 or younger will also be recognized at the same event.
“Recognizing some of the talented young professionals in the region has multiple benefits,” says Dauna Kennedy Grant, Chamber president. “It’s important for our community to know the caliber of talent we have here and by doing so it can also inspire other youth to dream big.”
