The railway tracks at Kelowna International Airport’s (YLW) main entrance will be removed and repaved this Saturday, Oct. 15 between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.
While removal and paving occurs, a temporary detour will be in place. Motorists are asked to obey traffic personnel and follow detours.
During this time, there may be minor traffic delays at the airport entrance. The City of Kelowna and YLW appreciate the patience of passengers, employees and motorists during construction.
Travellers flying out of YLW Saturday morning, should allow extra time arrive at to the airport. It is recommended that travellers arrive two hours early for domestic flights and 2.5 hours for international flights.
