Kelowna house fire displaces five people
KELOWNA – No one was injured in a house fire on Gordon Drive in Kelowna this morning.
Firefighters attended the home shortly before 9 a.m. and found flames coming from the rear of the house, according to a Kelowna Fire Department media release.
Kelowna Fire says one of the five people who live there was home at the time but managed to get out safely when he saw smoke.
All five residents are in the care of Emergency Support Services.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
