KELOWNA – The Swift Current Broncos defeated the Kelowna Rockets 5-1 on Saturday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna as the Rockets dropped its second game of the weekend.

Tomas Soustal scored the only goal of the game for the Rockets, who for the second straight night played well, but struggled to find the back of the net.

Kelowna surrendered three power play goals on four chances to the Broncos while going 0-for-3 with the man advantage.

Swift Current outshot Kelowna 30-27 in the game as Michael Herringer took the loss in net.

The loss drops the Rockets record to 3-7-0-0 on the season.

The Rockets are back in action on Wednesday night when they host the Everett Silvertips on another Hat Trick Wednesday game (Ticket, hot dog, pop for $19.99).

Kelowna will also play next Friday at Prospera Place, hosting Tri-City to close out its four game homestand.
