Looking for a forever home; Vernon SPCA pet of the week

VERNON – Hank is an eager to go, happy go lucky guy. He's a very smart dog that knows tons of commands like sit, sit pretty, shake a paw, speak and stay.

Hank arrived at the SPCA on Oct. 4, 2016. He is approximately four years and five months old.

He could use a little help with his leash manners. Hank can be shy but does well meeting new people if a familiar face is helping with the introduction.

He can be wary of children and is not compatible in a home with a small dog. Hank does have food allergies, likely an allergy to chicken. Currently he is on Vanectyl P, a medication to help with his allergies.

Hank's Animal ID is 416096.

Visit the Vernon Branch webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees, and hours of operation.
