Okanagan to see clouds, rain and temperatures in the mid-teens this week

OKANAGAN – Cooler temperatures, clouds and plenty of rain are the norm for this time of year in the Okanagan. This week's forecast by Environment Canada says the temperatures will stay close the seasonal averages, highs of 11 Celsius and lows of 3 C.

The week begins with rain and a high of 12 C today, Oct. 17 in the valley. Overnight there's a 40 per cent chance of rain and a low of 5 C.

The rain should carry on in Kelowna and Vernon on tomorrow, while Penticton will likely see mainly clouds and stay dry. Plan for a high of 12 C across the Okanagan. The overnight low should drop to 1 C.

Hump day on Wednesday will likely peak at 12 C with stubborn clouds that will probably stick around all day.  Overnight, periods of rain and a low of 5 C are on the radar.

There's a high probability of rain and a high of 13 C forecasted for Thursday. The rain should continue overnight and drop to a low of 1 C.

The week wraps up with more clouds and a high of 13 C on Friday. Rain should begin in the evening and last through Saturday.
