Wallets go missing in Penticton thefts
PENTICTON – Several Penticton residents are without their wallets following thefts in the city last week.
Penticton RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says a Dodge Caravan was stolen from a Granby Avenue residence on Oct. 13. The owner also lost his wallet, which had been left hidden under the seat.
The vehicle was recovered later in the day in Kelowna.
On Friday, Oct. 14, between noon and 1 p.m., someone accessed an occupied Memorial Arena dressing room by cutting the lock off the dressing room door.
Six wallets were stolen. Police are looking at video surveillance to identify the thief as they continue their investigation.
