Canadian songstresses Alessia Cara and Ruth B unite for North American tour

TORONTO – Two of Canada’s rising young female artists are pairing up for a North American tour this fall.

Pop singer Alessia Cara and newcomer Ruth B plan to hit the road for a 22-city tour starting in late September.

The duo will wind through the United States starting on Sept. 29 before playing their two final shows in Montreal (Nov. 1) and Toronto (Nov. 2).

Dates on the tour include a stop at Radio City Music Hall in New York City (Oct. 4).

Both women have enjoyed a successful year on the Billboard Hot 100.

Juno-winner Cara’s biggest hit so far was “Here,” which peaked at No. 5 in February.

Ruth B recently went as high as No. 24 with “Lost Boy,” a song which originally began as a short video on Vine.

Tickets for their tour go on sale July 15.
