Uranium Energy posts loss of $5.1 million in first quarter
VANCOUVER – VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Uranium Energy Corp. (UEC) on Tuesday reported a loss of $5.1 million in its fiscal first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 5 cents.
In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, the company’s shares hit $1.03. A year ago, they were trading at $1.71.
