‘Queer as Folk’ star Randy Harrison to lead national ‘Cabaret’ tour in 2016

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Randy Harrison will be tapping into his naughty side when he leads the national tour of the musical “Cabaret” next year as the Emcee.

A touring version of the hit show will include the former “Queer as Folk” star opposite Andrea Goss, who played Frenchie in the show on Broadway and now takes over the role of Sally Bowles.

The tour kicks off in Providence, Rhode Island, in late January and then goes on to Pennsylvania, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Kentucky, South Carolina, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, North Carolina, Maryland, Ohio, Nevada and California.

“Cabaret” centres on the world of the indulgent Kit Kat Klub in Berlin on the brink of World War II. The songs by John Kander and Fred Ebb include “Willkommen” and “Tomorrow Belongs to Me.”
