KAMLOOPS – Two men accused of assaulting and disfiguring a Mountie in Pritchard have pleaded guilty to the charges against them.
Leon Francis Leclerc and Jerry Lee Lamar pleaded guilty in Kamloops Supreme Court today, Oct. 24, defence lawyer Jeremy Jensen says.
The charges stem from an incident in Pritchard, about 40 kilometres east of Kamloops on the Trans Canada, in July 2014.
They instead pleaded guilty to assaulting a peace officer.
Lamar and Leclerc are expected to be sentenced in December, Jensen says.
