A small section of Quilchena Park in Kettle Valley is closed while the City of Kelowna prepares the area for the installation of a new slide. The work is scheduled to be completed in July. The long hillside slide was removed earlier this year for safety considerations.
The rest of the park remains open and families can still safely enjoy the other play structures at the park, including the waterpark when it opens for the season May 17.
