KAMLOOPS – Waterproof costumes are a good idea for trick or treaters tonight in Kamloops as Environment Canada forecasts a wet few days for the region this week.
The forecast calls for a 60 per cent chance of showers today, Oct. 31, with a high of 10 Celsius, and a chilly 5 C overnight.
Tuesday and Wednesday show more promise during the day, with dry but cloudy skies and highs of 12 to 13 C. The same can’t be said for the evenings, however. Although temperatures will only drop to 8 C, there’s a 60 per cent chance of showers both nights.
After a few days of tricks, Mother Nature finally offers up a treat on Thursday. Sunshine is expected to return the city, and a high of 14 C is above seasonal averages.
Skies will stay mostly clear as the weekend approaches, although Friday may see a few clouds. Sunshine and warmer temperatures offer a pleasant start to November.
