Cancun resort billed as haven for hockey fans during World Juniors

TORONTO – TSN is partnering with Expedia.ca to broadcast segments from Cancun, Mexico, during the upcoming World Junior Hockey Championship.

The sports channel will show sun-soaked Canadians reacting to game screenings at the five-star beachside resort Finest Playa Mujeres, Expedia.ca says.

Expedia.ca is promoting the resort as “Hockey Hotel,” a haven for fans during the tournament being staged in Helsinki, Finland, from Dec. 26 to Jan. 5.

There will be big-screen TVs showing the action, prize giveaways, parties and hockey swag, the online travel provider says.
