Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Unchanged at $13.39 on 6.3-million shares.
Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down 18 cents, or 3.02 per cent, to $5.78 on 6.3-million shares.
Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Up 27 cents, or 4.70 per cent, to $6.01 on 5.9-million shares.
Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Up 15 cents, or 2.77 per cent, to $5.56 on 5.2-million shares.

OpenText Corp. (TSX:OTC). Application software. Up $7.04, or 9.03 per cent, to $85.01 on 657,246 shares. The business software company says it has signed a deal to buy Dell EMC’s enterprise content division for US$1.62 billion. Under terms of the deal, the software, associated services, and employees in the division will be integrated into OpenText. OpenText says the deal strengthens its enterprise information management business.
Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan (TSX:POT). Fertilizer. Down 31 cents, or 1.40 per cent, to $21.83 on 4.3-million shares. PotashCorp and Agrium (TSX:AGU) (down $3.10, or 2.50 per cent, to $121.04 on 680,957 shares) have agreed to merge in a deal that would create a dominant player in the global agricultural industry worth an estimated US$36 billion. The pact announced Monday brings together Saskatoon-based PotashCorp’s huge fertilizer mining operations with Calgary-based Agrium’s extensive global direct-to-farmer retail network. It would create what they say will be the largest crop nutrient company in the world with close to 20,000 employees in 18 countries.
