30 Street project phase nearing completion

Construction on 30 Street from Hwy 6 to 30 Avenue is nearing completion and will reopen the week of November 7.

More work is still necessary this fall for the final installation of underground hydro lines on 30 Street and 29 Avenue. The 30 Street project will continue next spring to the lane north of 30 Avenue and along 29 Avenue.

The City of Vernon appreciates the patience of the local businesses and public during this important downtown revitalization project.
