Mother duck and ducklings get police escort

When an Eau Clair, Wisconsin police officer spotted a mother duck trying to make it across 6 lanes of traffic with her ducklings he did what any officer of the law would do.

He served and protected, blocking traffic with his cruiser and getting out to make sure the duck family made it to safety.

All the action is captured on his dash camera.
