Volunteers needed for Affordable Housing Authority
The Town of Osoyoos is seeking 5 citizen representatives to serve on an Affordable Housing Authority (AHA) to assist implementing its Near-Market Affordable Housing (NMAH) Program by:
- Assessing applicants for registering on an affordable housing waiting list against program eligibility priorities;
- Considering each applicant’s supporting background information forwarded by the Town, as well as additional information requested by the AHA itself, and the results of any personal interviews; and
- Approving or denying applicants’ registration on the waiting list and recommending suitable housing types to meet their needs.
Deadline for submission is MONDAY, November 14, 2016.
