PORTLAND, Maine – It’s lights, camera, meow for a video festival that shows claws for a cause.
The Portland Museum of Art is billing Cat Video Fest 2019 as “a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos” culled from unique submissions, sourced animations, music videos, and, of course, “classic internet powerhouses.”
Organizers say the museum is working with the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland on the furry film festival, which only appears in theatres and is designed to raise money for needy cats.
Nine showings are scheduled for March 29 to 31 and April 3.
