Ontario chef missing for more than a week found outside the province, police say

CAMBRIDGE, Ont. – Police say a renowned Ontario chef who was missing for more than a week has been found outside the province.

Waterloo Regional Police say they are no longer concerned for Jonathan Gushue’s well-being.

Gushue — who heads the kitchen at Langdon Hall, a luxury hotel in Cambridge, Ont. — was last seen in downtown Toronto on New Year’s Eve.

Police previously said the 41-year-old’s relatives hadn’t heard from him since Dec. 30.

It’s not the first time Gushue has gone missing.

Police have said the chef disappeared for about three or four days a few years ago.
