First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Up 88 cents, or 17.19 per cent, to $6 on 14.7 million shares.

Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B). Miner. Up 47 cents, or 9.29 per cent, to $5.53 on 9.4 million shares.

Twin Butte Energy Ltd. (TSX:TBE). Oil and gas. Up one cent, or 11.76 per cent, to 9.5 cents on 7.9 million shares.

Aura Minerals Inc. (TSX:ORA). Miner. Unchanged at eight cents on 7.4 million shares.

Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Up 85 cents, or 22.61 per cent, to $4.61 on six million shares.

Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Up 55 cents, or 8.44 per cent, to $7.07 on 5.3 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

Heroux-Devtek Inc. (TSX:HRX). Aerospace. Up 13 cents, or 0.96 per cent, to $13.74 on 9,140 shares. The Quebec-based manufacturer says it has a new five-year agreement with an unidentified commercial aircraft customer that could be worth up to $100 million. Production of landing gear components for the customer will be mainly carried out at its factories in Kitchener, Ont., and Laval, Que.
