Wintry storm causes travel headaches across Atlantic Canada
HALIFAX – Heavy snow caused travel headaches across the Maritimes on Sunday.
Some flights at Halifax Stanfield International Airport and St. John’s International Airport in Newfoundland were delayed or cancelled.
Police urged people to drive with caution as road conditions deteriorated.
Environment Canada had issued snowfall warnings for parts of mainland Nova Scotia and southern New Brunswick.
The national weather forecaster said up to 20 centimetres of snow was expected in some areas.
