Have you seen these missing gargoyles in Kamloops?

KAMLOOPS – Crime Stoppers in Kamloops is asking for the public's help in cracking an unusual case that happened left month.

Sometime overnight on Wednesday, Oct. 26, three different styles of concrete "gargoyles" were stolen from a concrete company on the North Shore.

Kamloops and District Crime Stoppers says they're not only unusual items to steal, but they weigh about 180 pounds each.

The group says on its Facebook page that the suspects cut through a chain link fence to get the gargoyles and due to the weight of them, it's likely there was more than one person involved in the theft.

"A vehicle would have been needed to move the items to a different location, but it is unknown how the Gargoyles were moved to the awaiting vehicle," Kamloops and District Crime Stoppers says. "It is possible that the Gargoyles will be on display in someone’s yard but it is most likely they will be in a house for whatever reason."

If you have any information on this theft, or know the whereabouts of these items you're asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1 800-222-8477.
