City plans to air season 2 of ‘The Bachelor Canada’ in 2014

TORONTO – Canadian bachelorettes will get another televised shot at love.

City says it will air a second season of the dating reality series “The Bachelor Canada” in 2014.

The first season, which ended in November, starred CFL wide receiver Brad Smith of Hudson, Que.

He proposed to Bianka Kamber of Mississauga, Ont., in the finale.

The two later told The Canadian Press they’re eager to tie the knot as soon as possible and planned to buy a house in Toronto.

“The Bachelor Canada” is based on the popular U.S. series and sees one love-seeker going on dates with possible mates every week, eventually eliminating the field to one.
