VERNON – Police are asking for help from the public in identifying a suspect who robbed Vernon Cash Solutions Inc. on 26 Avenue in Vernon yesterday afternoon.

On Nov. 10, at approximately 1:30 p.m. a man entered the store, showed what appeared to be a handgun and made off on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, Cst. Jocelyn Noseworthy says in a release.

"The female employee was shaken up, but not harmed," Noseworthy says.

Police describe the man as Caucasian, standing 6'0" tall, tattoo on his left hand, with a stocky build, wearing sunglasses and a hooded sweatshirt.
