Kamloops man causing disturbance on gas station roof spends the morning in jail
KAMLOOPS – A man is sobering up in jail this morning after tossing objects at vehicles from the roof of a Kamloops gas station.
Police were called to the Robo Gas Station on Tranquille Road at about 12:40 a.m., Nov. 16, after receiving a report of a man on the roof throwing objects at a vehicle and banging things on the roof.
RCMP say in a news release officers responded and the man fled into a neighbouring fenced compound, then back out into the Robo parking lot.
He was arrested for trespassing and mischief, and will be held until he sobers up this morning, police say.
