Some of the most active companies traded Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Nevsun Resources Ltd. (TSX:NSU). Miner. Up 55 cents, or 13.06 per cent, to $4.76 on 10.8 million shares.

Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSX:ACB). Health care. Down nine cents, or 1.12 per cent, to $7.97 on 8.9 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Up one cent, or 0.19 per cent, to $5.22 on 6.4 million shares. David Neeleman, one of the founders of WestJet Airlines and JetBlue Airways, has committed to buy 60 Airbus A220-300 aircraft for a new U.S. airline he’s launching. A memorandum of understanding for the aircraft, which was developed by Bombardier, was announced Tuesday at the Farnborough Air Show. The deal is worth US$5.4 billion at list prices, but airlines typically receive large discounts.

Canopy Growth Corp. (TSX:WEED). Health care. Down $1.45, or four per cent, to $34.80 on 4.7 million shares.

Aphria Inc. (TSX:APH). Health care. Down 48 cents, or 4.40 per cent, to $10.42 on 4.6 million shares. The Ontario-based company says it’s preparing to expand its cannabis business into South America and Jamaica by acquiring a subsidiary of Scythian Biosciences Inc. for an undisclosed price.

Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB). Oil and gas. Down 99 cents, or 2.13 per cent, to $45.49 on 2.9 million shares.
