Cops For Kids get final 2012 donation
The Cops For Kids Ride received their final donation of the year from Lake City Casinos bringing the 2012 total to $15,000.
The 10-day cycling journey takes place mid-September taking a team of 25 RCMP riders from Kelowna across the south-eastern portion of British Columbia in order to raise funds and awareness for children in medical, physical or traumatic crisis.
Lake City Casinos have donated over $100,000 over the past 11 years to Cops for Kids to support community children.
The next Cops for Kids Ride takes place Sept. 6 – 15, 2013.
