ORLANDO, Fla. – The Arena Football League’s Orlando Predators say if they lose, season ticket holders could get refunds.
The team announced the plan, dubbed the Predators Performance Guarantee, this week. It says that if the Predators fail to win 10 of their 18 games, season ticket holders will receive credits toward future season ticket purchases. Credits would start at 10 per cent for a 9-9 season and increase by 10 per cent per ticket with each additional game below .500.
The Predators had only the second losing season in their 21-year history in 2012, going 4-14. It was also the only the second time in franchise history they did not qualify for the AFL playoffs.
The team says it reserves the right to modify or cancel the pledge following the 2014 season.
