Bieber’s ‘Sorry’ bumps Adele’s ‘Hello’ from top of Billboard Hot 100

TORONTO – Justin Bieber has made Adele’s smash “Hello” say goodbye to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

The Stratford, Ont., native’s hit “Sorry” has jumped to the top spot, bumping “Hello” down one notch.

It has been a horse race between the two singles since they both debuted on the chart on Nov. 14.

“Hello,” from the album “25,” was No. 1 for 10 weeks.

“Sorry,” from the album “Purpose,” was No. 2 for seven consecutive weeks and eight in total.

Canadian artists continue to dominate the top 10 slots on the Billboard Hot 100. Bieber also holds down the third spot with “Love Yourself,” Drake’s “Hotline Bling” is in fourth, Shawn Mendes is seventh with “Stitches,” Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” is eighth, and “Here” by Alessia Cara is ninth.
