The Hip Replacements are hitting the Coors Banquet Stage at the OK Corral with a fundraiser for the BC Cancer Society.
OK Corral's managing owner, Andy Bowie, says, "With Gord Downey having brain cancer, his legacy touches many of us 30 and 40-somethings. The OK Corral wants to do their part, and 5 dollars from each ticket is going to BC Cancer Society in honor of Downey."
Bowie continues, "We live in a great community where people step up, donate and want to be a part of events like this, as cancer touches all of us."
The Hip Replacements have been playing together for 15 years and have quite a following here in the Okanagan. The Tragically Hip tribute band has opened up for Trooper, Chilliwack & Nazareth.
