Sidney Crosby walks to Winnipeg’s NHL arena for a taste of winter

WINNIPEG – Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby fed his inner Canadian by walking to the MTS Centre in Winnipeg for a pre-game skate.

The Penguins were in town to play the Jets and he says he misses Canadian winters.

Winnipeg certainly delivered with a sunny -23.

Crosby said it wasn’t a long walk and he was dressed for it.

But he forgot just how cold it can get.

He also said it would be great to see the NHL back in Quebec City if it works out economically.
